Well I talked to Mom today, and she reported that she made her reservations for where they'll be staying while in Spartanburg. I, however, will be sleeping on the floor, or perhaps a sleeping bag, in our new, furniture-less apartment for the week. ;) This is a picture of The Inn on Main, which is the bed and breakfast they'll be staying at. It's a historic landmark in downtown Spartanburg built in 1904 and has been a personal residence, a music house, and a chiropractor clinic before becoming Spartanburg's very first bed and breakfast. Mom's only comment about making reservations was, "Well, girl, you really are moving to the South..." haha. Apparently she never even got to pick a room, the receptionist was so busy extolling the virtues of her hometown and telling her how she'll end up wanting to move there. In a perfect southern accent, I'm sure. So, we'll let you know which room they end up in, when they end up in it! PS, this inn is right down the road from our apartment, so you'll all be staying there when you visit!!!
