Biltmore in Autumn

Made a quick trip to Biltmore last week for wine tasting and autumn leaves before starting the new job. It was early in the morning, cool, and mildly drizzle-y, which made the mansion look a bit like a scary Halloween house. :)

Rose gardens were still blooming away, and even saw a hummingbird!

They apparently rip out all the annuals and plant mums for fall..

The view of the mountains from the balcony... Just starting to get some yellow leaves!

Beautiful views. So worth the annual pass to go once in a while.

Also got to do some wine tasting, the Christmas wines are in, and they are good! Also a nice 75th anniversary red wine as well. Mmmm... Good thing I'm moving to wine country! :)
